My philosophy on formulating, since I have a customer base of 1 is to use agile methodology. I iterate each batch in an attempt to try to make a better product. My hair conditioner is currently on the 4th or 5th iteration. I make a new batch each week and test it to see what I think and, more importantly, how my hair reacts.
